Lissajou Light Drawings

These gravity induce drawings are made using a series of twin elliptical pendulums that are swinging in simple harmonic motion. The apparatus used was "S.H.M. lissajous II' where a layer of carbon or black paint is scratched off a sheet of glass by a moving needle. The images are the result of tracing the natural movement of objects affected by gravity, and are visualisations of a truly universal force.
